Celebrate Croydon’s 127 parks during Love Parks Week

Croydon’s street champions are celebrating national Love Parks Week by holding a host of litter picks across the borough as part of the Don’t Mess With Croydon, Take Pride campaign.

The golden litter picker will be touring the borough throughout Love Parks Week

Throughout the 10-day celebration, Croydon’s street champions will be holding additional community clean-ups, and even bringing the borough’s golden litter-picker out on tour.

Croydon was recently awarded the litter-picker in recognition of the Don’t Mess With Croydon campaign’s achievements during the Great British Spring Clean.

Launching today, (Friday 12 July) Love Parks Week encourages everyone to get out and enjoy their favourite park.

Croydon’s 127 parks play host to wonderful range of events and activities throughout the year including Croydon PrideFest tomorrow (13 July) and Croydon Mela 2019  a day later (14 July), both in Wandle Park.
