FREE Warhol lectures from US pop-art expert, Henry Koelsch

Anyone with an interest in pop-art should book a place on two unmissable free lectures lined up this weekend as part of Warhol Croydon month.

Renowned art dealer and Warhol expert, Henry Koelsch, is visiting Croydon from his Los Angeles gallery to discuss how popular culture meets fine art through the gift of Warhol.

The two-hour lectures will examine Andy Warhol’s promotion of screen printing and how, as an artist, he considered the artwork produced to be a product of mass production with mass appeal.

Both events run from 7.30 to 9.30pm in the Braithwaite Hall, which is located in the Clocktower in Katharine Street, Croydon

FRIDAY 22 September: Warhol – Face to Face, hosted by Henry Koelsch

SATURDAY 23 September: Warhol Lecture – Factory Productions, hosted by Henry Koelsch

Henry Koelsch specialises in utilising his extensive knowledge, patience, and skills to assist both seasoned and novice collectors with their acquisitions. As an avid art collector himself, he strives to present his clients the ‘best of the best’ offerings with the highest possible value at the most reasonable cost, always with an eye to stellar condition.

Henry is a particular expert in Andy Warhol limited edition prints and is associated with one of the largest pop art galleries in the United States. Through this association, he has direct access and control of thousands of ‘blue chip’ pop art prints from a broad range of contemporary artists.

HenryonPopArt represents numerous artists from the pop art era. The beautiful Los Angeles/West Hollywood gallery inventories limited-edition prints for sale by blue chip artists including David Hockney, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol.
