Make sure your voice is counted at next election

Croydon residents are being urged to register to vote to make sure they can take part in future local or parliamentary elections.

If you are already registered to vote at your current address you do not need to do anything further. If you are not registered, this can be done either online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, or by post if you do not have internet access.

Jo Negrini, the borough’s Returning Officer, said: ‘’We could have a General Election very soon, so if you want to vote in future and still haven’t registered then now is the time to do it. If you have already registered to vote at your current address then you don’t have to do anything further.

“It only takes a few minutes to register to vote, so please take action now to make sure your opinion is counted when it comes to election time.”

To apply by post, you can request a paper form from the council’s electoral services team by calling 020 8726 6300.
