Croydon is to open its doors to the public for Open House London next month.
The council’s headquarters Bernard Weatherill House, and the Croydon Town Hall and Clocktower Complex are among the buildings that will be open.
There will also be a walking tour of the town centre focusing on projects that are part of Connected Croydon, a £50m programme of public realm and infrastructure projects.
Open House London celebrates the buildings and spaces of the capital with more than 700 opening their doors on the weekend of September 19 and 20.
Other Croydon buildings and spaces taking part include Airport House, Fairfield Halls, Old Palace, Ruskin Square, Shirley Windmill, St Bernard’s Houses, The Stanley Halls, Thornton Heath Library, Whitehorse Manor Schools and the Whitgift Almshouses.
Ruskin Square offers the rare opportunity during the Open House weekend to witness a live site under construction, giving visitors an insight into how Croydon is changing.
There will also be an architecture walk of the town centre called The Seven Hills of Croydon on the Sunday.

Bernard Weatherill House will be open from 8am to noon on the Saturday offering hourly tours of a maximum of 12 people per tour.
The Croydon Town Hall and Clocktower Complex will be open for timed tours on the Saturday between 10am and 1pm.
