Councillor Hamida Ali, cabinet member for communities, safety and justice, statement on yesterday’s stabbings in Selhurst.
Councillor Ali said: “This was a truly shocking incident within our community, and my thoughts are with the victim’s family. I have met the borough commander today and offered the council’s help in supporting their investigations in any way we can.
“The police have increased patrols in the area and our neighbourhood safety officers are working alongside them to help reassure residents who are understandably feeling very concerned at the moment.
