The Safer Croydon Partnership (SCP) has launched a survey to gain a greater understanding of people’s crime concerns.
The short survey, launched today, seeks the views of everyone who lives, works or visits Croydon. It asks which crime and anti-social behaviour issues causes them most concerns, across the borough, and in their neighbourhoods.
The survey is also looking at people’s experience of anti-social behaviour on transport such as buses, trains and trams.
There are also questions on reporting crime – why people may not report it, whether they are happy to report it, how more could be encouraged to report it and awareness of reporting methods.
The SCP brings together the council, police, fire brigade, health and probation services, along with businesses, the community and voluntary sector groups in a united bid to keep Croydon safe.

“I would encourage everyone to take part in the survey, as the results will be used to help the SCP improve co-ordination of local activity between all partners, and to make the best use of shared resources.”

The results will be used to help inform future community safety plans in Croydon.
The survey closes on Friday 22 February.
