Schools and colleges across Croydon have been celebrating their students’ A-level exam results, with early indications showing good improvements at A-level grades A*-A grades.

Council planning appeal upheld protecting Croydon’s heritage and trees
Croydon Council’s planning service welcomes the news that the Planning Inspectorate has dismissed an appeal made by Bellway Homes (Thames Gateway) Ltd for the redevelopment of a site in Waddon.
Croydon agrees over £12 million investment into highways this year
Executive Mayor Jason Perry has approved a £12.573 million highways capital programme for the borough’s highway infrastructure for 2024/25, as well as a new five-year Highway Asset Management Strategy.

Croydon Council has successfully bid for £814,000 from the GLA, for the Amplifying Surrey Street project.
Eight more temporary Healthy School Street schemes made permanent
