Croydon Council welcomes continued backing of Croydon BID
Croydon Council has welcomed the outcome of the ballot to renew the Croydon Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID), with businesses voting in favour of a fifth five-year term.
Croydon secures £1.79m for safer roads and better journeys
Croydon Council has agreed £1.79m in funding with Transport for London (TfL) for safer pedestrian crossings, road safety improvements outside schools, better bus journeys and new cycling connections. The funding will support a revised Local Implementation Plan (LIP) programme focused on local priorities and improvements that can be delivered this financial year.
Croydon remembers on the 10th anniversary of the Sandilands tram derailment
Croydon will come together in New Addington on 9 November to remember those who lost their lives in the tragic Sandilands tram derailment 10 years ago.
