Watch out for investment fraud

Croydon Council's trading standards team is marking the start of Scams Awareness Month with a warning that residents aged 40-60 are at particular risk of investment fraud. Council officers wll be at Santander in Brighton Road, Coulsdon on Thursday 7 June from 10am-12pm to give advice and answer questions.

Croydon welcomes John Lewis to town centre as part of £1.4bn retail development

Croydon Council has welcomed a commitment by the John Lewis Partnership to be an anchor in the £1.4bn redevelopment of The Whitgift Shopping Centre.The retail giant today (31 May) confirmed that they will open a new 165,000 sq ft, four-level John Lewis department store with a Waitrose supermarket on the ground floor in Croydon’s new world-class retail and leisure centre.
