The proposals would see visitors benefit from one hour’s free parking at all district centres, with the maximum stay increased to two hours to give them more time to enjoy the shops.

Croydon Council has received a planning application from developers Polaska for a new leisure centre on the Purley Pool site and regeneration of the surrounding area.
