Mayor Jason Perry promised to reset the relationship with council tenants and leaseholders and put their needs at the core of improving Croydon’s housing services, whilst visiting Regina Road estate this week.
The Executive Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry, has announced the make-up and portfolios of his Cabinet. This marks the first Cabinet under the borough’s new mayoral system following local elections earlier this month.

Mayor Perry has met with representatives from the Croydon Limited Partnership (CLP) to discuss Croydon’s town centre regeneration, highlighting the borough’s need for investment to provide a mixed use of jobs, homes, retail, education and culture.
Mayor Jason Perry was in Thornton Heath this morning to oversee the progress of reinstating the council’s graffiti removal service and continue this pledge to clean up Croydon’s streets.
Since December 2021, the council has been working with homelessness and substance support services to try and help people sleeping rough in the Whitgift underpass.
Thank you to everyone in Croydon for the very warm welcome I have received in my first week as the borough's first Executive Mayor.
Croydon is recruiting Covid-19 vaccine champions from the local community to help reach out to people who remain concerned about having the jab.
During Foster Care Fortnight (9 - 22 May) Croydon will be shining a light on the many ways people across the fostering community support our foster carers.
