Croydon residents with any queries about their registration to vote can call a dedicated advice line, which will be open for the full duration of polling for the General Election on Thursday 7 May.

The council’s contact centre will be staffing the phones throughout the day from 7am to 10pm.

The dedicated number is 020 8726 6300 for anyone who has any questions around their voting registration.

Nathan Elvery, Acting Returning Officer, said: “We have set up a dedicated number for Croydon residents who require advice on voting or are concerned about their registration status.

“For the first time, it will be open from the moment polling stations open to when they close, providing a service throughout the day of the general election.”
