Download your 2022/23 bin calendar

Residents in Croydon can now visit the council website to download their bin collection calendars for the new year.

A page has been set up where residents can simply enter their post code, select their address, and their collection calendars will be made immediately available to view and download.

Food waste is collected weekly, while general waste, paper and card, and plastics, glass and cans recycling all take place every fortnight.

Communal collections for flats will not have calendars, but residents can check their collection date on the same webpage.

The council also offers a garden waste service for households that receive a regular individual collection, with collections taking place every two weeks. To learn more and sign up for the service visit the council website.

For proper disposal of larger items and white goods, residents can book a bulky waste collection, or take items to any of the council’s three Household Reuse and Recycling Centres. Operating hours and important information can be found online.

“We are making it easy for residents to get their bin calendars online this year. If you need a printed copy for your home and don’t have access to a computer, our library staff are able to help you get one sorted and printed at any of our branches.”

Jason Perry, Executive Mayor of Croydon
