Croydon is almost ready for the historic Platinum Jubilee weekend – with residents busy preparing for more than 140 Big Lunch street parties across the borough and the bunting up on Croydon’s Town Hall.

Croydon residents who do not use direct debit to pay their council tax are being invited to complete an online form to receive their rebate payment.

It is fantastic to see Croydon getting into the Platinum Jubilee spirit, with bunting out already and more than 140 Big Lunch street parties planned.

Croydon’s newly elected councillors met at the Town Hall last night for Annual Council - the first Council meeting under the new Mayoral system, led by Executive Mayor Jason Perry.
