On Wednesday the council set a budget for 2023/24 that will protect vital services whilst we continue to fix the finances and rebuild the council so that it is smaller and more efficient, providing good services and value for money.

Croydon Council last night (8 March 2023) set its budget for the next financial year after the Executive Mayor’s proposals were approved at Full Council.

More children in Croydon offered a place at their preferred secondary school
A total of 89% of Croydon’s pupils have been offered one of their top three choices of secondary schools.
