This year, Surrey Street Market celebrates an incredible milestone, 750 years at the heart of Croydon.
The market received its royal charter in 1276, and generations of traders, residents and visitors have helped make it one of Croydon’s best-loved places. To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a special lunchtime celebration on Friday 13 November.
Visitors can enjoy performances, including children singing, meet local organisations, explore extra stalls and support the traders who keep the market thriving.
