From 2-5 June 2022 Croydon is celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee!

With 148 Big Jubilee Lunch street parties planned across our borough, families, friends and neighbours are coming together to share fun, friendship and food.

At 8.30pm on Thursday 2 June, we’ll join thousands of communities across the UK and Commonwealth in lighting a Jubilee Beacon outside Croydon Town Hall.

From civic ceremonies to craft sessions, tree planting to parties, Croydon is marking this historic occasion in many ways – find out more and check out our gallery below.

Get involved:

• Join us for the lighting of our Jubilee Beacon outside Croydon Town Hall on Thursday 2 June. The ceremony starts at 8.30pm with the beacon lighting at 9.09pm.
• Support The Queen’s Green Canopy campaign by sponsoring a tree in a Croydon street or park through Trees for Streets
• Share pictures of your Big Jubilee Lunch parties and other Platinum Jubilee parties by tagging @yourcroydon in social posts or email communications@croydon.gov.uk
• Celebrate our history by remembering Her Majesty’s past visits to Croydon. Visit the Museum of Croydon’s digital exhibit and share your own memories and pictures by tagging @yourcroydon on socials or email communications@croydon.gov.uk.
