Norbury and Pollards Hill by-election announced

Voters in the Norbury and Pollards Hill ward will be electing a new councillor on Thursday 14 March following the death of Councillor Maggie Mansell.

Councillor Mansell died in January after a short illness. The Notice of Election for the vacancy has now been published, with voting to find her successor taking place at five polling stations in the ward during the usual polling hours of 7am to 10pm on 14 March. The election count will be held at Norbury Manor Primary School after the close of poll.

Residents living in the Norbury and Pollards Hill ward who are British, eligible Commonwealth, Irish or European Union citizens, and aged 18 or over on 14 March 2019, will be able to vote at this election, but only if they are registered to vote.  The council is urging anyone in the Norbury and Pollards Hill ward not on the electoral register to sign up here.

If you have received a Postal Vote Refresh Form inviting you to supply a new postal vote signature by 14 March 2019 (due to your postal vote being five years old) your postal vote will be unaffected by this process for this election unless you decide to cancel or change your postal voting arrangements by 5pm on Wednesday 27 February 2019.
