Croydon parents and carers have received notification about which primary school their child has been allocated a place at for September.

A total of 4,478 applications were received this year and 86.8% of children in Croydon have been offered a place at their first choice primary school.

Parents and carers must accept or decline their offer of a primary school place by 30 April 2024.

For details on how to accept a school place, or how to appeal, see the council website. Information on schools that have remaining places is also available on the council website.

“We’re delighted that everyone who applied on time has been offered a place for their child and the overwhelming majority have been offered a place at their first choice.

“We want Croydon to be a place where our children and young people can reach their potential and our schools are well placed to help them towards achieving this.”

Jason Perry, Executive Mayor of Croydon
