As part of Love Croydon Shop Local, we’ve joined up with local company Loqiva to bring the best of your local area straight to your phone.
Loqiva, the company behind PalaceApp, a Digital Town Hub which has been developed with local businesses and residents in Crystal Palace, are piloting the app in three other areas of the borough; South Norwood, Purley and Thorton Heath.
Residents can download the free iPhone or Android app to see the latest local news, find local businesses and get alerts for local events and offers.
Businesses and community organisations can create online accounts to connect and communicate with app users, promote their business, offers and events.
You can now download the free Love South Norwood app and In Purley app from your app store and benefit from great local offers. The Thornton Heath app – We Are Thornton Heath – is due to launch soon.
The pilot is part of the South London Partnership InnOvaTe Project which was awarded £4 million for a South London multi-purpose ‘Internet of Things’ platform project to help people live better, healthier lives and to generate economic growth.
