Families in Croydon are invited to join Croydon Family Hubs for a packed programme of summer fun, including discounted cinema trips, free cricket coaching and a family fun day.
With the long summer holidays coming up soon, Croydon Family Hubs have teamed up with local organisations to help parents find affordable ways to keep children entertained.
Families with children and young people aged up to 19, or 25 if they have special educational needs or a disability (SEND), can benefit from a range of activities
A series of family-friendly films will be on show at the central Croydon David Lean Cinema from 24 July to 14 August. At just £5 a ticket, films include the new live action Lilo and Stitch, Inside Out 2, Paddington in Peru, and The Wild Robot. All showings will start at 11am.

Cricket enthusiasts can try free cricket coaching with Surrey County Cricket Club. Youngsters aged five to 11 can enjoy the sessions at Woodlands Family Hub thanks to a in partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club.
Classes will be running each Friday for a month starting 25 July and spaces can be booked by emailing: familyhubs@croydon.gov.uk. Parents must stay with children during sessions.
Get the whole family together for Woodlands Family Hub’s family fun day on 30 July from 10am. Open to all ages, there will be crafting, activities and games, all free and fun and no booking needed!
